Make your own Engineered or LVP vent with our easy to use DIY Vent System!
It’s a hassle to have to send your flooring material to a company only for them to cut a simple vent. With our DIY Vent System, you’ll be able to make your own vents over and over again. Great for engineered and LVP products. Yes, I said LVP! This is made possible with our metal support plate that slides under the flooring to give the LVP that extra support.

Step 1:
Square your template to the floor.

Step 2:
Use a plunge router to router out the hole. This is where the vent will cover the duct.

Step 3:
Grab an extra piece of flooring that you want to cut the vent out of. Take our DIY Vent Template and adhere the template to the flooring using double sided sticky tape.

Step 4:
Use a plunge router to router out the vent starting with the slates, and ending with the outer edge.

Step 5:
Take your newly cut vent and place it in the hole that you cut in step 2. Note: For vinyl material, slide our Vent Support Plate under the flooring before placing the vent over it.
